Painting - part #2, aluminium parts

 The mechanical strutucture that holds the steering column, canopy opening mechanism, as well as the dashboard, electronics, etc... is presented in raw aluminium finishing. Also the steering wheel mouting support also comes with a raw finishing.

I've decided to repaint both parts in black-mate color.

To start with all parts were cleaned, degreesed and slighlty polished with thin sandpaper. Paper tape was used to mask the areas than should not get any paint.

Aftwerds an aluminium primer was applied for proper adhesion of the final paint:

Finally everything was painted in black-mate plastic finish:
